Kodalfa HomeSmartHome

Kodalfa HomeSmartHome is a home monitoring application based on Kodalfa SNM ADF. A network of sensor nodes (motes) is installed inside a house to constantly monitor temperature, light, humidity and sound. Collected data is stored in a central database server and securely provided to the home owner through the Internet or Intranet.

Users can watch live measurement plots and navigate through the data. They can interact with motes by sending certain commands such as changing the frequency of measurements.

Using the secure web interface, users can set alerts. They can ask to be notified through e-mail or SMS, when certain conditions are met. For example, they can add an e-mail alert for when the temperature is above 110 °F. This may signal overheating for sensitive objects in close proximity of the sensor.
